I have attempted to make a triptych for the first time! These panels are 16" x 20" each, so it's not too intimidating. The mountains will be blue in the background, with the two aspens on the left in the front, green summer leaves will be blowing in the wind. The afternoon storm builds over the horizon in the northwest, with blue sky beside it. That funny red firework will be a spruce tree and wildflowers will be in the foreground and in the distance.
I have to wait for good weather to paint this because there's no room in the house! Spring is so crazy. It has to be warm with no wind but not too hot and not too glary!
I'll post more pics as the painting progresses!
