I was out running on a cloudy spring day. Colorful branches, leaves and blossoms shone bright against the dark sky. I saw this little tree, so lovely with its white blossoms and green leaves. When I got home I tried to capture it on canvas.

I had fun making these colorful paintings the other day ~ the snowy one is made with the pallet knife ~ still new to me ~ I loved the red of the trees in the forest landscape so I left them red ~ I usually sketch in red then go over with another color later... ~b
